Ron Helton Passes

{nl}RON HELTON PASSES: Longtime friend of local racing, Ron Helton, passed away on Tuesday, January 13th. Ron  served the local racing scene in many capacities during his life. He was best known in his early years as the Crew chief for legendary short track driver Wayne Niedecken Sr. Ron also served as crew member during the early years of Wayne Niedecken Jr.'s career. More recently, Ron had switched his focus to the career of Chris Bayhi, the very successful Vintage Class driver in the local Dirt Track circles.
