Five Flags Speedway

"The Ace" rules 5 Flags.

{nl}          The track record fell. Late calamity between two leaders paved the way for a former champion to find his way back to Victory Lane. Not too shabby a night as Five Flags Speedway opened its 2010 season with a bang Friday.     As expected, the Tampa Bay Area Racing Association sprint cars absolutely torched the pavement at Five Flags. When the smoke had cleared in the time trials, Brian Gingras was king, owning a new track record of 13.885 seconds. “It’s an honor to take the track record,” Gingras said of his first-ever track record. “We love coming up here. We usually don’t get to run in front of this many people.” Gingras wasn’t the whole story, though.
