Modified 35 Lapper

The Open Wheel Modified Division has produced some of the best racing action this season at 5 Flags Speedway. Testament to this statement can be found simply by looking at the points standings, where a mere 14 points separate the top 5 drivers. Dora, Alabama driver Nathan Davis currently sits atop the Top Gun Standings, but just 5 points ahead of Pace, Florida’s most versatile driver Todd Jones, and six points ahead of Lucedale Mississippi driver Brandon Howell. Currently tied for 4^th are defending Champion Nathan Ingersol, and longtime favorite Gerald Wilkerson. All these contenders will be geared up to continue their quest this Friday Night, along with the South’s hottest short track driver, Bubba Pollard, and a host of others. Friday Night’s Modified event will kick off an exciting evening of short track racing, which will include a 100 Lap Super Late Model race, plus 20 Lap Sportsman and Bomber features. Friday’s line-up will be determined by Time Trials, with a dice roll to determine the invert. The Race winner will receive $ 750, and each of the remainin g top ten positions will notice substantial purse increases.
