Winged Sprints Driver Shane Butler Gets Taste of Pensacola At Wayne's

Shane Butler, one of the close to 30 Tampa Bay Area Racing Association Winged Sprint Cars that will compete Friday night at Five Flags, will sign autographs at a meet-n-greet from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Wayne's Family Diner.

Butler, who currently leads the TBARA points race, has been locally sponsored by Butler U-Pull-It for several years now. Despite the identical last name, the Bushnell, Fla., native is not related to the Butler U-Pull-It proprietors.

The TBARA Winged Sprints make their first of two appearances at Five Flags this season Friday night. Super Stocks will compete in a Black Flag Race while the Sportsmen and Bombers continue their respective seasons, as well.

The grandstands gates open at 5 p.m. Friday and admission is $15 Adults; $14 Seniors/Military; $12 Students; $5 Child (6-11); Under 6 is Free. The pits open at 1 p.m. and passes are $25.
