Cantonment contractor Packy Mitchell, a helping set of hands for many years at 5 Flags Speedway, was recognized for his long service to the racing community Saturday night with the Rex E Brooks Ironman Award for 2011. The award is given annually to the person who gets the job done, and comes back looking for more to do.
