Jason Cox set a new gold standard for Five Flags Speedway on Friday April 13th. The Park City, IL driver piloted his winged sprint to a blazing 13.783 seconds. It set a new speed record for us at 130.5956 miles per hour.

Cox was the only driver in the field of 25 who was able to shatter the previous record of 13.885 set by Brian Gingras of Valrico (Tampa) Florida in 2010.
