Heavy Midday, Afternoon Deluge Forces Postponement of 5 Flags' Program to Next Friday

It seems like Mother Nature has a permanent parking space in Victory Lane at Five Flags Speedway recently.

She returned Friday, much to the chagrin of racing fans, drivers at track officials. Showers forced the postponement of Friday’s full schedule to next Friday.

Admission will once again be $5 when the gates open to see the Sportsman race 50 laps for $1,000 and the Modifieds and Bombers will represent two other local divisions.

The highly-anticipated Demolition Derby gets another week to build its hype, if that’s possible, and the Faster Pastor Race will once again add comic relief to the night’s lineup
