Five Flags Speedway
Come See the Blues!
Come early to the next race, see some speed in the sky. The show is free on Wednesday behind the National Museum of Naval Aviation aboard the Pensacola Naval Air Station. Need to arrive at the west gate at the south end of Blue Angel Parkway. Have photo ID for everyone in the car, no big rigs, cars are best. Seating for 1,000, so get to the seating area by 11am. You will go thru another security check point. Show starts promptly at 11:30am, lasts about 50 minutes, bring sun screen, camera, sun shades. There will be a crowd.
Some days the Blues pilots hang around or go to the museum for autographs and photos. Its air conditioned in the museum, and entry is free. They have a lunch bar.
It will take about 25 minutes to drive from the track to the museum, plus what ever wait time in line to get thru security, which may be another 20 minutes..
