OH....The Memories Remembered

The clock was turned back on Saturday Night at 5 Flags Speedway, as nearly a hundred drivers representing

four decades turned out for the first of its kind Driver’s Reunion.  2 time Snowball Derby Winner Dickie Davis

assisted the track in coordinating the event. The drivers and their guests were treated with a cookout on the Turn 4 Party Pier,

and without a doubt many good stories were told. “ We’re honored to have you all in attendance here tonight,� s

tated 5 Flags GM Tim Bryant. “While racing has changed a lot over the last 50 years, we will always remember

the roles you’ve played in establishing the history here at 5 Flags Speedway.â€?  

The drivers made their way to the front straightaway for an official Driver’s Introduction,

and were presented with a 50^th Anniversary commemorative coin for their presence,

much to the delight of the race fans on hand to witness not only this throwback in time,

but an exciting night of Championship racing action as well.
