Lloyd’s Raises the Steaks
When the 2019 Lloyd’s Glass Pure Stock season opens on Saturday March 9th, the winning race team will be poised for a celebratory cookout, courtesy of Barry Lintner, owner of Lloyd’s Glass. As most know, when you have your car’s windshield is replaced by Lloyds, you also receive “a box of really good steaks�. So, in addition to the $500 winner’s share of the purse, a box of steaks will also be waiting in Victory Lane. And of equal importance as well, will be the boost for beginning the 2019 season on a good note. In fact, each driver who finishes in the top 10 positions will likely gain some confidence as the season swings into high gear a few weeks later. A new rules package for 2019 should insure a tighter field throughout the race. Also, with the new rules package, a new track record will be established during qualifying on Saturday afternoon. The Pure Stocks will be joined on March 9th by the Faith Chapel Outlaws and the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards
