Five Flags Speedway
NO RACING FRIDAY AUG 26.
With the high probability of continued rain throughout the Panhandle area for the next several days, 5 Flags Speedway officials have canceled Friday Night’s race program. Speedway grounds are already saturated, with record August rainfall testing track drainage to the fullest.
“We’re more cognizant than ever about the cost of travel for both fans and competitors to our events,” stated 5 Flags General Manager Tim Bryant, “so with that in mind, we’re taking the safest approach.
We’re working on scheduling now that will have the Allen Turner Pro Late Model Series running a doubleheader on the Saturday, September 24th Championship Night. The Zoom Equipment Pro Trucks and the Lloyd’s Glass Pure Stocks will run their Championship races on Saturday, September 10th.
On that same night, The Dock of Pensacola Sportsman Division will run their Sportsman Spectacular event, which will also serve as their Championship Race.”
