One Snowball Rookie Could Win $10,000 “Welcome to Pensacola” Bonus.
A big payday is in store for a first time Snowball Derby driver. The best finish
in the 300 lap derby by the driver making its first attempt in the field of 36
gets the $10,000 check.
“It’s all a way to encourage more first time super late teams to participate in the derby, and make the
Snowball experience more affordable” says 5 Flags General Manager Tim Bryant.
Some 50 teams are expected to compete for a coveted starting spot in the 55th annual event on Sunday
December 4th at 1 pm.
