Coronations await several drivers Saturday night at Five Flags Speedway.
The Harvesters Credit Union Night of Champions will see four local classes crown division winners. The Faith Chapel Outlaws (40 laps), the Dock on Pensacola Beach Sportsmen (30), Gulf Real Estate Group Pro Trucks (30) and Lloyd’s Glass Pure Stocks (25) will all anoint champions after their feature races Saturday.
It marks the first of back-to-back Saturday night racing at the famed half-mile asphalt oval. Late Models and Crown Stocks’ championships are up for grabs Sept. 27 on Night of Champions No. 2.
If you’re looking for points drama, there’s little to offer. The four drivers bringing leads into Saturday night have delivered dominant and consistent performances since the green flag first dropped in March at Five Flags.
Grandstand gates open early at 3 p.m. Saturday. Qualifying is scheduled for 5:30 and racing is slated for approximately 7:30. Admission is $15 for adults; $12 for seniors, military and students; $5 for children ages 6-11; and free for kids 5-and-under.
The closest battle belongs to Timothy Watson, who leads the Faith Chapel Outlaws series by 25 points against Carter Taylor.
The Panama City driver has thrived in this position before. Watson, who has two feature wins in four races this season, captured consecutive Outlaws track titles in 2022 and 2023.
Taylor is winless this season after recording two victories in 2024, but his three podiums—including two runners-up—has him second in points. Logan Boyett in third (-26 points) and Bubba Winslow in fourth (-36) have the other Outlaws wins in 2025.
Mason Johnston is comfortably out in front of the Pure Stocks. His 29-point lead against Connor Odom positions him well for Saturday. Johnston hasn’t lost at Five Flags this season in four features.
Steven Davis has enjoyed an identical campaign in the Pro Trucks series. He’s 4-for-4 in features at Pensacola’s high banks and carries a nearly insurmountable 42-point lead against his closest competitor, Maddox Langham.
But the biggest lead heading into the Harvesters Credit Union Night of Champions on Saturday belongs to Chad Robinson. Three wins and all seconds in the other three Sportsmen features have all earned him a 49-point advantage against Parker McDonald.
