FLORACING brings veteran broadcasters in for Derby broadcast

FloRacing announced Thursday its broadcast team for the 58th Annual Snowball Derby presented by FloSports. Following a successful and engaging broadcast last year, FloRacing will return with the same lineup for this year’s event, scheduled for Dec. 4–7 at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida.

The broadcast team features four veteran motorsports commentators. Adam Mackey and Eric Brennan will again handle play-by-play duties from the booth, while Bob Dillner and Jim Tretow will report from pit road and provide behind-the-scenes coverage for fans.

Mackey, who currently serves as the announcer for the ASA STARS National Tour, will call the Snowball Derby for the 17th consecutive year, spanning both radio and online broadcasts.

Brennan, a play-by-play commentator for the CARS Tour on FloRacing and the ARCA Menards Series on FOX Sports, will reunite with Mackey in 2025 after calling his first Snowball Derby last year.

Dillner, the lead announcer for the SMART Modified Tour, has long been associated with the Snowball Derby through his work with Speed51. He began covering the event in 2001 and has served in numerous roles, including PA announcer for driver introductions, play-by-play commentator for radio coverage and play-by-play announcer and reporter for online broadcasts.

Tretow brings 29 years of national motorsports television experience to the FloRacing team. He currently serves as the co-anchor for the ASA STARS National Tour and ASA Midwest Tour, in addition to working as a host for MAVTV events and as the public address announcer for the Daytona 500 and Rolex 24.

FloRacing’s Snowball Derby Kickoff Show on Tuesday, December 2 will once again be hosted by Matthew Dillner and Brandon Paul, with Rob Blount reporting from the venue at The Ticket Sports Bar in Pensacola.

In addition to FloRacing's broadcast team for the Snowball Derby and Snowflake 125, fans will also hear the voices of Five Flags Speedway announcers Robbie Harvey and Bill Roth throughout the event
