Speedway General Manager Tim Bryant Named Sportsman of the Year by Sports Association

On Tuesday, our own Tim Bryant was honored by Pensacola Sports as the Sportsman of the Year for 2025. Almost 30 years ago, Five Flags Speedway was closed and on the verge of being erased from the Pensacola landscape.
Some key people helped keep the track alive, and the Bryant family took over in 2004. Today, Five Flags Speedway is well-respected by the community and the tourism boards that have come to understand that auto racing brings millions of dollars to the area each year.

Bryant was quick to point out that the honor of the award goes to a long list of people who help keep the track going every weekend and each December with the Snowball Derby. Mr. Tim is our leader, and we are proud to be a part of this effort each day.
